From Prince William County Police Department:

McLean Police District – Phony credit cards, stolen identifications, and out-of-state shoplifting scammers are being targeted by Fairfax County Police Retail Anti-Theft Teams (RATT) once again this holiday season. In an annual effort that began “Black Friday,” RATT officers are patrolling the malls and shopping centers across Fairfax County hoping to keep the areas safe and crime-free.

Black Friday: What's Your Favorite Deal?

Black Friday brings thousands of deal-seeking shoppers to area malls year after year. Today we caught up with some busy shoppers to find out what their favorite deals this year were so far.

"My favorite deal was from Victoria's Secret. I saved $20," said one shopper in Arlington.

"I got a pair of skinny jeans from the Gap that were originally $70 for $20!" said another excited Black Friday shopper.

But not everyone is pleased with this year's specials.

"It's pretty lame this year. There's nothing exciting...even with the web specials," said one disgruntled shopper at the Fashion Centre in Pentagon City. He was going to head to Tyson's Corner next to see if maybe they had more to offer.
