Salon Daniel of McLean, Va. raised more than $2000 for Fashion for Paws, benefiting the Washington Humane Society. The salon had donated 100 percent of all sales to the Washington Humane Society during a day-long promotion.

 The Fashion for Paws® (F4P) Runway Show infuses the nation's capital with cutting edge high fashion, drawing an extraordinary crowd of VIP's, fashion and animals lovers alike to raise funds for the Washington Humane Society.

Salon Daniel of McLean, Va. recently treated 54 local teenage girls to a ‘salon day’ in preparation for Pure Fashion Show on Sun., April 3,  in Bethesda, Md. The Salon Daniel hair stylists and make-up artists shared their beauty tips and headshots were taken for the Pure Fashion Show program booklet.

What comes to mind when thinking of professions in Washington D.C.? To most people, it is the perfect city to be in if you want to get into politics or law. Tranquility Day Spa and Salon is moving and re-opening its doors in downtown Haymarket , Va. on Tues., Mar. 29, with renovations underway to host a new Beauty Bar and Sleep Lounge in May. Located at 15125 Washington Street, Suite 304, the 4,800 square-foot salon will be offering its traditional hair services, as well as facial, nail care and massages, but will also be expanding to feature a Beauty Bar and Sleep Lounge, which is still under construction. Salon Daniel Raises More than $500 to Help the American Heart Association

In support of the American Heart Association’s Go RED campaign, Salon Daniel of McLean, Va., raised more than $500.  For more information, call 703.893.5000 or visit www.salondaniel.com.

Salon Daniel collected the donations by asking their clients to wear ‘red’ on Saturdays. Salon Daniel donated 10 percent of the client’s total service to the American Heart Association.

We appreciate the support of all our customers who helped make the Go Red campaign such a success. Heart disease is something we all need to be aware of, and the Go Red campaign is a great way to get the word out to take care of our hearts, said Daniel Bechara, owner of Salon Daniel, McLean, Va.

Salon Daniel is ‘Going to the Dogs’ on Sunday, March 20

Salon Daniel of McLean, Va. is hosting a Fashion for Paws fundraiser, benefiting the Washington Humane Society on Sunday, March 20 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., donating 100 percent of all sales to the Washington Human Society. Whether it’s a haircut, color, highlights, massage or manicure, Salon Daniel will donate 100 percent of the day’s sales to benefit the thousands of homeless, neglected and abused animals in Washington, D.C. area. Refreshments will be offered by Cupcakes by Lauren Lewis and raffle tickets will be available for a $10 donation to Washington Humane Society. The raffle winner will receive a gift card for a haircut, blow dry and style by Salon Daniel owner, Daniel Bechara and a $100 gift card for a photo session with Dominique Fierro Photography.

Local Women Star in New Television Show Focusing on Style and Lifestyle in DC and Hunt Country

Episode one of Style in the City, a show that's all about styleand lifestylein and around the Nation's Capitol, first aired this week. And if you have access to Fairfax Public Access Chanel 10, it should be easy enough to catch or DVR (since it's showing more than thirty times this month!).

The show's cast comprises Leesburg resident, Leigh Macdonald, DC's Stefanie Ball, and two Middleburg women, Cindy Bapst and Elizabeth Miller. The show's director, Kristin Rustom, resides in both Middleburg and DC. The show focuses on distinctions between the life in the District and life in nearby Hunt Country, and much of the first episode was filmed on location at Delaplane Cellars in Delaplane, VA.
