 The annual Chocolate Lovers Festival valentine this year features Fairfax Theater, drawn by Fairfax artist Jackie Liedl. Each valentine includes a coupon for five $1 pogs for use at the Taste of Chocolate, which takes place March 3-4 in Old Town Hall, 3999 University Drive.

THREE BEARS: New A Capella Family Comedy Premieres Feb. 9

TYSONS CORNER, VA – 1st Stage, Tysons Corner’s award-winning professional theater, in partnership with First Draft at Charter Theater, a nonprofit organization devoted to the development of audiences and new plays, today announced the February 9 world premiere of “Three Bears,” a brand-new play that offers a comedic twist on the classic fairy tale and sends the Three Bears and a golden-haired friend on an all-new, a cappella musical adventure.   The show is fast-paced, furry fun for the whole family, ages 5 and up.

FCPS Teen Chefs to Receive Cooking Tools

From Fairfax County Public Schools:

Middle school students from Glasgow and Thoreau Middle Schools will receive a variety of cooking tools so they can practice their newly-learned cooking skills at home at the closing reception of the Teen Chefs on the Move! program on Thursday, January 5, at 1:30 p.m. at Chesterbrook Residences in Falls Church. Glasgow and Thoreau Middle Schools are Fairfax County public schools.
